Title

Acquiring A Youthful Maturity

Scripture
Moses was one hundred and twenty years old when he dies, His eyes were not dim nor his natural vigor diminished.
(Deuteronomy 34:7)
Devotional
Moses was eighty years old when he began his business of leading the people out of the bondage of Egypt. For the next forty years he was the leader of God’s chosen people, and they were not the easiest people to lead. Yet, through it all he kept his youthfulness. He remained bright eyed and filled with vitality. Most people are worn out by the normal mundane routine of life, but Moses kept his youth. How? How, at one-hundred-and-twenty, was he able to procreate and clearly lead these millions of people? The answer can only be found in his relationship with the Lord. There is a youthful vitality to be found in an affiliation with the Creator of the universe. When God calls you to a task, it doesn’t matter how old you are. Because if He calls you, He will equip you with a youthful maturity.
