Title

We Are Not Old Dogs

Scripture
Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old?”
(John 3:4)
Devotional
It has been said that you cannot teach an old dog new tricks. Aren’t you glad that you are not an old dog-well at least a dog? It is true, that the longer one waits to commit his or her life to Christ, the less apt that person will be to come to Christ. Statistically speaking the older you get the less likely you are to change. Nevertheless, with Christ all things are possible. It is never too late until it is too late; and it is only too late if you die without Christ. Furthermore, we are to never stop changing until we have been conformed to the likeness of Christ. I do not know about you, but I have not arrived there as of yet. Most likely, the largest portion of my life is gone; yet I must be about changing my life. I have found in all honesty, that the older I get the more I need to change. The reason being is that the older I get the more I know and the more I know the more I need to change. Yes, Nicodemus a man can be born when he is old.
