Title

Am I Hiding In The Dark?

Scripture
And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
(John 3:19)
Devotional
How many of you are there? Is what people see real, or is your life a facade? We must understand that the light of the gospel of Jesus Christ will sooner or later expose the darkness of our lives. The best thing for us to do is walk in that light. Darkness is a metaphor for sin. To paraphrase our text, “We are condemned, because our sin has been exposed by Christ, and we love sin more than Him.” Sin, like darkness is filled with hazards. They cause us to have eyes to see, yet see not. After a time, we become accustom to sin, as we can become accustom to darkness. The Bible says that we are, “all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.” If you have a dark side, expose it to the light of the gospel of Christ, and walk in that light.

On May 19th, David said:
How wonderful would this world be if we were all to expose our darkness? This devotion gave me encouragement to slip away from the areas of darkness I know God does not intend for me. I want to burn bright myself so that others may see and be drawn to it as well.

Why is this country seems to be racing down a dark path in the name of political correctness?
