Devotional
As a teacher, I have found that testing is a great teaching tool. A good teacher will only test about the things students need to know. There is no place for trivial testing. We are not tested for the purpose of a grade, but to measuring our knowledge. A good teacher, will only test his students about those things he knows, and the things he expects them to know. Christ is not only a good teacher, He is THE teacher. Thus, test us; that through the testing we will learn and grow. He will test us so that we will understand our abilities and limitations. He will test us so that we will know that without Him we will fail every examination pertaining to eternal life. Therefore, when testing comes, rejoice, for Christ has found you worthy to be instructed. As James says, “Knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.”Daily Reading
