Do Not Fear Deliverance.
Scripture
Then they came to Jesus, and saw the one who had been demon-possessed and had the legion, sitting and clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid.(Mark 5:15)
Devotional
What a story! This man was possessed with at least two-thousand demons. He was uncontrollable. Several points amaze me in this story. First, as soon as he saw Jesus, he ran and worshipped Him. Then once he was delivered, he was immediately in his right mind and properly clothed. Christ changed him in an instant. Then, the people were afraid. Isn’t that amazing? You would think that their fears would have passed. What caused the fear? It must have been the change. People are afraid of change, even for the better. As Christians, we should never be afraid of the change Christ can make in our lives. We should seek it and then embrace it. There are some non-believers who are in need of deliverance from demonic possession, and there are believers who are in need deliverance from demonic oppression.Daily Reading
