I wisdom, dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge and discretion… That I may cause those who love me to inherit wealth…(Proverbs 8:12-21)
Devotional
Wisdom never dwells with the wrong company. Wisdom will never hang around the careless instead of the prudent, the foolish in place of the knowledgeable, nor the foolhardy rather than the discreet. Wisdom’s fear of God prohibits the embracing of evil, pride, arrogance, or the perverse. The simplicity of wisdom manifests the supremacy of God. A byproduct of wisdom is wealth. The true treasure of wisdom is the relationship it produces between its owner and God. Because wisdom’s value is better than gold or silver, gold and silver are its fringe benefits. The test of wisdom is easy. You will always know wisdom by the company it keeps, and the fruit it produces. What kind of company do you keep? From where do you receive your knowledge? You may need to associate with wisdom and it’s friends.Daily Reading
