Devotional
Have you ever thought on the lovingkindness of God? Come on; be honest. I have found that when we do, our problems and trials diminish in their severity. Yesterday morning for example was Easter Sunday, the most attended church day of the year. For pastors, Easter is Super-bowl Sunday. Anybody who occasionally attends church will usually come on Easter. So we prepare special music. We have flowers in the auditorium, and have gifts for the ladies. It is an awesome day. Now, I pastor in San Diego California. Guess what it did Saturday night? It snowed. Guess what I did not do? I did not think on the lovingkindness of God. I thought on the “Why is it snowing, God?” However, early that morning, the Holy Spirit reminded me of His lovingkindness. I changed my attitude and began to think on the lovingkindness of God, and when I had a change of mind, God changed weather.Daily Reading
