Sin will always attempt to entice. Jezebel is most likely the most infamous character of the scriptures. Her name is synonymous with everything that is wicked and immoral. Here is what I know about Jezebel: for there to be a Jezebel, there must first be an Ahab. Where was Ahab when Jezebel was scheming against the man of God and murdering the prophets? Where was his intervention as husband and king? He was cowering on his bed[1] Ahab had more of a mother and son relationship with Jezebel than a husband and wife relationship—which is a perversion of marriage. Jezebel enticed Ahab and because of his unwillingness to deal with her, she attempted to entice with her sexual immorality. The spirit of Jezebel has no place in the home or especially the church. Hear Christ’s warning to His church, “I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality…”[2][1] 1 Kings 21:4
