Devotional
People will follow what people praise, and people will praise what people follow. This fact makes the praise and worship of Jesus Christ an extremely powerful witness. Listen to what the psalmist says will be the result, “Many will see it and fear, and will trust in the Lord.” Praise and worship convict the heart of man. However, when we half heartedly praise the Creator, we are sending an apathetic message stating that He is not worthy of praise. Call it what we will: shyness, embarrassment, or unnecessary, it reflects our heart for God. I understand that it may be uncomfortable to publicly praise and worship, but it’s time to get uncomfortable. Make a bold stand, by humbling yourself before a holy God. The Bible says, “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!”Daily Reading
