No Longer Violators Of The Law

Scripture
Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law
(Romans 3:31)
Devotional
Some would foolishly think that once I have been saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ that I now have a liberty to continue in my sin. On the contrary, we now have victory over sin, not permission to sin. Even our propensity to sin must be put to death on the cross of Calvary. Because we are no longer violators of the law we are free from the law. There is only authority in the law to those who are violators of the law. My justification is no longer bases on the law, but is based on faith in Christ. The scripture clearly says “That a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ.” “The law is good is one uses it lawfully.” Therefore we must not be a law unto ourselves, but those who by faith establish the law of God.
