The Motivation Of Rejection

Scripture
And some were persuaded by the things which were spoken, and some disbelieved.

If we are willing to understand this very simple aspect of life, we will have greater determination, and we will not take rejection personally. I have seen people with great zeal until they are rejected. Once rejection comes their zeal dies. How sad; we are so easily derailed. The reason being is that we are on the wrong track. We are zealous for ourselves instead of another. We must first be zealous for the things of God and then for others. If we get this order, rejection will become a motivation instead of a hindrance. Rejection will almost always outweigh acceptance. More people rejected Christ than accepted Him. Therefore, why would we be surprised when we are unable to persuade those we are trying to reach-As Paul quoted Isaiah, “Go to this people and say, ‘Hearing you will hear, and shall not understand; And seeing you will not perceive.’”
