Devotional
It cost Christ no more to save you than the least of mankind. Everybody needs the Lord. The rich as well as the poorest among us are precious in His sight. Without Him, we are all undone. There is none righteous, not one. We have all gone astray and need the Savior. Therefore, how can we refer to others as common or unclean, when we ourselves require the same things. Be quick to give honor and slow to expect it. When it does come, graciously pass it on to the Lord. Be circumspect in receiving praise from man. Do not let it go to your head. Man is fickle and short-lived in memory. God is not. Therefore, honor those whom God honors. Esteem those highly whom God esteems. Do not look down on any man. See every man as precious in the sight of God, and you will do well by them.Daily Reading
