Title

The Heart Of A Fool

Scripture
A fool has no delight in understanding, But in expressing his own heart.
(Proverbs 18:2)
Devotional
The heart of a fool broadcasts; it seldom receives. A fool only informs of his ways and desires; he never honestly seeks counsel. He may even be quick to inform you of what he is doing, but not for the sake of direction. A fool seeks counsel after the fact; His life is always in need of repair. He believes that everyone should line up and applaud his decisions. He does not understand that he is a fool. You may be a fool if you only inform and do not seek counsel. You may be a fool if you answer your own questions. You may be a fool if your life is always in need of repair. You may be a fool if everyone else is always wrong. If you do not delight in understanding, and only desire to express your own heart, you are a fool. Seek godly counsel, get understanding, and change your heart.
