Title

Am I A True Worshiper?

Scripture
But the hour is coming, and now is when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.
(John 4:23)
Devotional
There is nothing more spiritual in the life of a believer than the worship and praise of the Father. I know of no higher calling, nor a greater need than for God’s people to worship Him in spirit and truth. To worship Him in spirit is to come into His presence recognizing who He is and proclaiming it in song, word, and deed. Doing so in truth is realizing and believing that what you are saying glorifies God and edifies His people. God is looking for worshipers, people who are not ashamed to proclaim Him publicly. The world is also looking for Christians who believe in God enough to demonstrate that belief openly and with zeal. There must be a people who unashamedly and joyfully congregate for this purpose. I must ask myself, “Do I worship the Father in spirit and in truth?” The Father is seeking such to worship Him.
