Devotional
There is a little Judas in all of us. I believe the downfall of Judas began with a judgmental attitude. Mary, the sister of Martha and Lazarus anointed the feet of Jesus with a very expensive oil. Judas judged this act as a waste. He, in his false piety said that it could have been sold and the money given to the poor. Judas regressed from this point on; he deserted Jesus for thirty pieces of silver; and finally betrayed Him with an expression of a dear friend, a kiss. Think about the betrayal of Judas. He was with Jesus for three years. He saw the miracles. He saw Him walk on water, heal the sick, and even raise the dead. He listened to the preaching. He knew him personally. Now his name is synonymous with the likes of every evil villain throughout history; and it most likely started with a judgmental attitude.
