You Can Reach A Thousand

One man of you shall chase a thousand, for the Lord your God is He who fights for you, as He promised you.(Joshua 23:10)
Devotional
Nearly thirteen years ago at this writing, I had a vision to build a church of forty thousand people. When I shared that vision I was speaking to about sixty people how had joined with me to start what has become know as Sonrise Community Church. I hold that vision to this day. Presently we are running between two and three thousand in attendance. Yet I am certain that we can achieve the vision. Our text tells me that we can. I do believe that every believer can impact a thousand people. Here is why: we have the Word of God and the Spirit of God all that remains to accomplish His vision for His church are the resources. Those resources are the willingness of God's people to reach out and our willingness to give the finances needed to get the job done. You and I have the all the power we need to make a difference in accomplishing God's will in our lives. Are you willing to chase your thousand?Daily Reading
