Devotional
The world’s road to riches says, “Get all you can; can all you get, and sit on the can.” God says that in His kingdom, those who are the givers are the ones who will acquire the riches. God says if we learn to give we will have, but we want to wait until we have before we give. That’s why most people in the kingdom of God have very little. They have the mentality that says, “I will do such and such when I get this and that.” Thus they never do such and such and never have this nor that. The Biblical mandate is very clear, “Give and it will be given to you…”Even the process of giving brings a blessing. The Bible again says, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”The greatest road to riches is found through giving. Give of your time, resources, and love and watch what happens.Daily Reading

I actually felt this one at church this morning. I felt the urge to commit my resources when I attained them, and then wondered if the families who needed what I had right now for the Fellowship Fund could wait. I know God will take care of my family; He always has, and has NEVER let us down. He is faithful 100% of the time. I only wish I could say the same.
