Title

God May Be Working

Scripture
So now it was not you who sent me here, but God…”
(Genesis 45:8)
Devotional
We know the story. Joseph’s brothers sold him into slavery. He overcame in slavery and became the head of Potiphar’s house. He was then falsely accused of molestation and sent to prison for many years. Yet, he overcame in prison, and ended up a great leader in Egypt, second only to pharaoh. It doesn’t seem that Joseph ever questioned God. Understand, Joseph didn’t know the end result. He didn’t know that God was using and preparing him for a great work. Yet, here he is, the dreamer, seeing his childhood dreams come true. Joseph faithfully waited on the Lord for many years. Will you wait on the Lord, remaining faithful to your dreams, and God’s will for your life? You may be thinking that your life isn’t working out as you planned, and that may be so. Maybe, just maybe, your life is working out as God planned.
