Title

No Excuses

Scripture
Then Moses said to the Lord, “O my Lord, I am not eloquent . . . I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.”
(Exodus 4:10)
Devotional
Moses quickly learned that when God calls you He likewise equips you for that calling. God was angry with Moses for questioning his calling. Our greatest weaknesses are turned to our greatest strengths when called by the Lord. As the apostle Paul said to the Corinthians, “For when I am weak, then I am strong.”(1) What excuses do you make for not doing what God has called you to do? What personal phobia hinders you from obeying the awesome purpose of God in your life? You do understand that there is no physical, mental, or emotional handicap that can thwart your success in God’s will for you. You do understand?

If a stuttering old man can lead a few million people out of bondage, surely you and I can obey God in our endeavors. Let us never allow looks, speech, education or anything to stop us when God calls us to any task.

(1) 2 Corinthians 12:10
