Title

Look For the Teachable

Scripture
But if anyone is ignorant, let him be ignorant.
(1 Corinthians 14:38)
Devotional
There comes a time when we are to stop attempting to reach or instruct those who choose to be ignorant. When someone chooses not to be teachable, move on to another. When people say that they will, and continually do not, let them alone. When a friend repeatedly makes promises and repeatedly breaks them, do not count on them any longer. Be a friend. Give folks opportunity, but eventually if they continue in their own devices, leave them to those devices. We cannot keep on feeding a bad habit. There will always be people who will not change. There will always be people who will choose to remain in their lost state. When we continually give them of our time and energy, we rob those who are willing to change and better their lives. There is a time when anyone who is ignorant is to be left in that ignorance. Look for the teachable.
