Title

Run To Win

Scripture
Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.
(1 Corinthians 9:24)
Devotional
God is looking for winners, people who are willing to be trained, disciplined and coached by Christ. Think about it; there are countless people who are doing what you are doing. Most of them have the same dreams and desires that you have. What will be the difference between those who run and those who receive the prize? First of all, it is God’s desire that all of His children win. Nevertheless, not all of them will. I can guarantee that it will never be His fault. For us to run in such a way that we may obtain the prize, we must run obediently. There are no winning renegades in the Kingdom of God. Furthermore, it takes discipline. We must be willing to pay the price, go the extra mile and work a little harder. If what you are doing is ordained by God then run with all your heart. If what you are doing is not ordained by God, change your event.
Thought For The Night

There may be many on the narrow road that Christ has called us; the problem is that too many are just sitting on it.” Tony Foglio, Founding Pastor of Sonrise Community Church.

Applying: “Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith,” Hebrews 12:1-2.
