Title
The Lord Blesses As He Chooses
Scripture
The Lord made them joyful, and turned the heart of the king
(Ezra 6:22)
Devotional
It is in the power of God to either bless or curse, harden or turn. It is just that simple. It is entirely up to God to do as He pleases. However, there is a factor; God does weigh the heart of man. He responds to faithful obedience. God is not fickle, nor is He fragile. He is forever consistent and almighty. It is in the power of God to turn your financial situation around and prosper you. It is in the power of God to soften the hard-heartedness of your spouse. It is in the power of God to turn your heart of stone into a heart of flesh. God can turn your enemies into allies. He can turn each and every situation from a curse to a blessing. We must never forget, He is God. He can do as He chooses, and He chooses to bless those who walk in faithful obedience.
