Title

Why We Are To Believe In Him

Scripture
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.”
(John 11:25)
Devotional
This is the greatest promise of the scriptures: the promise of eternal life. Even though it is appointed for men to die once, there is the certainty of the resurrection. Think about that. These mortal bodies will one day be made anew. The sickness, disease and injuries that they have been subject to will be eternally healed. These earthly bodies will be made eternal and perfect. I do not know what they will be like, but I do know that they will be without blemish. Therefore, what have I to fear? Where is the dread of death? These things are swallowed up in the victory of the cross of Calvary. We are now more than conquerors through Him who loved us. Just think; to acquire these promises all we have to do is believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. For He is truly the resurrection and the life. Do you believe in Him? Do you?
