Title

He Is God, You Know

Scripture
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
(John 1:1)
Devotional
Here we find the clarity of the deity of Christ. Whenever this verse is read, Christ’s deity cannot be denied. Jesus Christ is the Son of God and God the Son. Herein is the foundation of the Christian faith. If we remove Christ’s deity, there is no salvation and our faith is in vain. The deity of Christ is the plumb line of the faith. It separates the cults from genuine Christianity. You can call Christ all that you wish, but if you do not call Him God you do not know Him. You would be hard pressed to find an attribute of the Father that is not attributed to the Son. To deny the Son is to deny the Father. Therefore glorify Him for His name’s sake. Understand that He is God. He is worthy of all our adoration, praise and worship. Do not be misled by the cults that claim Him to be anything other than God incarnate. Christ Jesus is the Word and the Word is God.
