Dress for Success

Scripture
“… ‘She decked herself with her earrings and jewelry, and went after her lovers; But Me she forgot,’ says the Lord.”
(Hosea 2:13)

For whom do you give your best? Whose favor are you attempting to gain above all else? For whom do you dress and make your appearance appealing? There is to be a proper alignment with regard to appearance, manners and protocol. First and foremost, God is to have the highest regard. Secondly, children under the authority of their parents should be subject to their parents. Husbands should be dignified toward their wives and wives should look and be at their best for their husbands. Yet, I have found that we are more than often out of order. God is seldom considered with regard to dress and appearance. Once men are married, the hunt is over and the camouflage comes off. Many women dress better for other women than they do for their own husbands. Ladies and gentlemen, this ought not to be so. We are out of order. Let us dress for success. Let us be pleasing to God’s order, not man’s.
