Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Devotional
Being a Christian does not come accidentally. It is a diligent choice we make. It is not a matter of being approved by man, but of being approved by God. Christianity is an unashamed and unabashed commitment to Christ. It involves fervent work, not a work to earn salvation, but a work by reason of having received salvation. I do not work to be a Christian; I work because I am a Christian. Furthermore, I am to live by the Manufacturer's handbook, the Bible. I am to rightly divide it; that is, use it in context with itself -always interpreting the implicit by the explicit. I am to understand that which is not very clear by that which is very clear. We are to be a people of the Word, diligently living unashamed of our relationship with Christ in the world.
