Title

Make Each Day Count

Scripture
My life span is gone, taken from me like a shepherd’s tent.
(Isaiah 38:12)
Devotional
Life at its very best is fragile. It can change or be extinguished in a heartbeat. Therefore, let us be blessed with the day at hand. Let us not waste one precious moment of God’s daily goodness. “He who would love life and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking deceit.” Life is too short to allow the fickleness of the world to steal your joy. Its problems and hardships are such as are common to man. We know that all of our trials and tribulations are temporary issues. Each and every one will be dealt with, solved and remedied. We will, if Christ delays, be granted up to seventy or eighty years of days. We are given a choice. We can live our lives wastefully in gloom and despair or we can live our lives with joy and peace. It is simply a choice. We can choose to waste it or embrace it. Choose the latter and make each day count to its fullest.
