Title

With Trust No Fear

Scripture
Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid…
(Isaiah 12:2)
Devotional
Can you say this with the confidence of Isaiah? Isaiah’s faith was in the coming of Christ; ours is in the fact that He came. There is no salvation in any other name. As we look back to Calvary, Isaiah looked forward to it. From the fall until the return, there will be no other way to be saved from our sin natures. Our confidence can only be in Christ. There is no other way. Some may say that we are being narrow-minded; well, you can be narrow-minded if you are right. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life. No one can go to the Father except through Him. Because of this fact, we can trust and not be afraid. We can trust God for eternal life. We can trust that He does work all things together for our good. Therefore we do not have to be afraid of the fearful. Because we trust Him we not only can, but we are to overcome all fear. Just think what you can accomplish with this kind of trust and without any fear.
