Title

Get About the Business of Change

Scripture
Because they do not change, therefore they do not fear God.
(Psalm 55:19)
Devotional
Change is not an option; it is a commandment of God. We have not arrived. We have not yet been perfected. To be born again is not the end of salvation, but the beginning of it. Unless we are about the duty of changing, we will at best plateau in our growth. It matters not the endeavor; unless we are in a constant mode of change we will become apathetic and eventually dissatisfied. The fear of God will dangerously dwindle if we stop the growth journey of life. Our lives are not to be destinations in themselves, but growth journeys. We are to go from grace to grace and faith to greater faith. If you find yourself falling out of love with your Savior it is because you have stopped changing. Your plateau is fixed on a mudslide. You may think that you are standing still, but you slipping and will soon find yourself in the valley of despond. Therefore, get about the business of change. Change your attitude, your habits and your priorities; and fear your God.
