Title

Dealing with Your Jebusite

Scripture
As for the Jebusites…the children of Judah could not drive them out; but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Judah…to this day.
(Joshua 15:)
Devotional
The apostle Paul had a similar dilemma with his thorn in the flesh. Three times he prayed that the Lord would remove it and the Lord responded with “My grace is sufficient for you, My strength is made perfect in weakness.” I do not always understand why the Lord allows certain things in our lives, but one thing I have learned, He is faithful and His grace will always be sufficient. Therefore, when there is a constant nuisance in your life and you have prayed to have it removed and God has chosen not to do so, hold on to His grace. Grow stronger by it instead of constantly fretting over it, especially if it is a person. God has endured us; we are to learn to endure others. Whether in business, the workplace or even the home, allow His grace to be sufficient for you. When you realize who or what your Jebusite is remember, God has a purpose and His strength is made perfect in weakness.
