Title

You May Not Get There, But You Can See It

Scripture
This is the land if which I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob… I have caused you to see it with your eyes, but you shall not cross over there.
(Deuteronomy 34:4)
Devotional
I have goals and dreams that I most likely will not get to see because of the sins of my youth. I did not come to Christ until I was twenty-five years old. I nearly wasted one-third of my life without Christ. Nevertheless, with Christ I can have great and grand goals and dreams. I may not get to experience the fruition of all of them, but I can see what is to be. I can see through the eyes of faith the fruit of my labor. Therefore, I not only can, but I will do my best to raise up successors to my vision. I will follow the example of one of then world’s greets leaders, Moses. He mentored and trained Joshua the son of Nun to fulfill God’s direction for his life. Greatness does not always mean that you will get to partake of the promise. God will show it to you, but if it is grand enough, it may require another to accomplish it.
