Title

Just As He Promised

Scripture
You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow; you shall reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over you.
(Deuteronomy 15:6)
Devotional
This is godly people. This is to be the commentary of God’s people. God has always intended for His people to be the head, and not the tail. If we find ourselves always having to be the borrower, most likely we are missing something of great significance in our lives. Likewise, if we find ourselves always being ruled over instead of ruling, again we are missing something relevant in our lives. We are not designed for failure. We are created for success. God never calls us to an endeavor for the purpose of failure. The only purpose of failure is to expose a shortcoming in our lives. If you have borrowed, repay your debt as soon as possible. If you are under the authority of a tyrant, work yourself out from under that reign as quickly as possible. “For the Lord your God will bless you just as He promised.”
