Devotional
God blesses His people for a purpose, and that purpose is that we would be fruitful and multiply. God does not bless His people for self-centered purposes. We can and should enjoy the fruit of our labor. Success is to have its rewards. Success, furthermore, has great influence. Therefore, as God blesses us, we are to use those blessings to make a difference in individual lives as well as our communities. There is power in God’s blessings because there is power in success. Success is simply a synonym for being fruitful and multiplying. This is to be the goal of the blessed, to fill the earth. God blessed Noah first of all by securing him and his family in the ark. For the believer, that ark is Christ. Therefore, our first blessing is to follow Christ into the security of the ark of salvation and then we are to be fruitful and multiply.
