Devotional
The modernistic parent does not like Biblical teaching with regard to educating and training our children. Society teaches that a child left to him or herself will develop into a healthy child. That is if society is the child’s parents. I do agree that we are not inherently equipped to train and educate our children. That is why we have the Word of God and the Spirit of God. The only sure foundation of training and education for our children is God’s. He is the Creator. He does know how to instruct His creation. Our forefathers knew this when they formed our institutions of learning. Nearly all were Biblically based. Therefore, learn the Biblical principles of training and educating your children. Study God’s Word with regard to discipline and chastisement. If we trust Christ for our eternal lives, surely we can trust Him with regard to training our children.
