Woe to those who seek deep to hide their counsel far from the Lord, and their works are in the dark; they say, “Who sees us?” and “Who knows us?”

Devotional
How foolish of mankind to attempt to function without the divine direction of the Creator. In our arrogance, we strive to divorce ourselves from God and His Word. We live in such a manner that if there is a God, He is ignorant of our devices. We treat God as if He is an old man without understanding of the modern ways of humanity. We mistakenly think that He does not know nor does He care. Strive though we may to hide our ways from God, we will forever fail. We are to constantly be aware that God is very aware. He knows. He sees. He hears. He understands our thoughts before we even think them. God is not some abstract figment of ancient man’s imagination. Therefore, if you are a believer, stop attempting to hide from Him. Open up and receive His counsel. He is the Lord God Almighty. Seek His guidance and obey His commands. Do these things and be blessed.
