Title

Saved With A Purpose

Scripture
Save us, O Lord our God...to give thanks to Your holy name, to triumph in Your praise.
(Psalm 106:47)
Devotional
God did not save us without purpose. He did not save us to live a life of mediocrity, let alone a life of waste. We are created for a wonderful purpose. God has an awesome plan for His people. It is for this reason, if none else, that we ought to be thankful to Him. The Lord’s intent for us is success. I am more convinced of that fact with each passing day of my walk with Him. He truly desires for us to triumph. We have not been saved to lose. Therefore, there are no losers in God’s kingdom. I love the phrase, “To triumph in Your praise.” Here is why praisers are winners. Those who build up others are champions. They understand that we cannot win alone. First and foremost, it takes praising the Lord God. We are to glorify His name at all times. Every ability, talent, and gift is from Him. Furthermore, we are to praise the work of the Lord in the lives of others as well. Always remember, He saved us with a purpose.
