Title

The Promise Of Success

Scripture
Therefore, my beloved brethren be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
(1 Corinthians 15:58)
Devotional
Because of the promise of heaven and eternal life with Christ, our attitude toward this life ought to be one of faithfulness and certainty. Every problem and every hurt is temporary. We are bound for success. Therefore, when we enter into an endeavor by faith, we must be steadfast. We are to do what we do with great focus, keeping our eyes fixed on the goal before us. We are to be immovable-loyal to the task, always abounding in the work of the Lord. To abound is to prosper. To prosper is to have success at whatever we put our hand. Never stop pursuing your God-given dreams and visions. Never stop working, for He has said, “Your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” If you believe the Lord, if you trust His Word, then you will walk and work in obedience to it. If you do, then the promises of it will come to you.
