Devotional
Man has devised virtually millions of gods in the futility of his mind. He has chosen to worship everything from body parts to rats. He has made gods out of wood, stone and stars. Some of man’s gods have a certain amount of power. They have power to destroy the mind and condemn to hell. The best of man’s gods are less than feeble when compared to the one true and living God. There is only one Creator, and yes, there is none like Him. Other gods may create a certain amount of serenity, but the Lord God gives life everlasting. Do not be duped by the false gods of this world. The god of fame, greed, lust or deceit can never bring the peace and security that only Christ can bring. Think of His works. He created the universe and all that is in it. He redeemed sinful man. He demonstrated His perfect love for us that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. There is truly none like You O Lord.Daily Reading
