There Is An Oases In The Desert

Yes, they spoke against God: They said, “Can God prepare a table in the wilderness?”(Psalm 78:19)
Devotional
Whether we out and out deny Him or simply limit Him, we speak against God. The true God can do anything except violate Himself. He created the universe and He has total control over it. He is able to mold it and make it as He wishes. He is able to prosper or bring to poverty. He is able to heal or destroy. He can deliver or He can remove. He is God omniscient. It does not matter what your wilderness may be; He can prepare you a table there. Maybe you are in the wilderness of distress. He can set a table of gladness. You may be experiencing a wilderness in your marriage. God can prepare you a wedding feast. Your circumstance is not out of His reach. Your sin situation is not so unique that God is stymied. Do not speak against God by denying His ability to prepare a table in your wilderness. He is both able and willing, if you are willing to yield and submit your all to His care. Why die in your desert when God has prepared for you an oases?Daily Reading
