We Have Found Grace

Scripture
Now therefore, I pray, if I have found grace in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know You…
(Exodus 33:13)
Devotional
It is OK to remind God of His promises. In fact, I am sure that He desires us to do so, not for His sake, but for ours. Moses prayed for God to show him His ways. He said, “If I have found grace…show me Your way” We can say, “Since I have found grace… show me Your way.” Ephessians says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.” We, as believers, have found grace. Therefore, we can say, “Show me now Your way, that I may know You.” Here is where we can come boldly to the throne of grace. Here we can ask what we will and it will be granted. We can approach God with a greater covenant than that of Moses. He came with an “If,” we can come with assurance. God wants us to know His way. James says that we do not have because we do not ask.
