Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach…saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to Him… and worship Him…”

What is the everlasting gospel? Could it be the declaration of the angel? Could it be as he proclaimed with a loud voice: “Fear God and give Him glory…and worship Him?” The answer has to be a resounding yes! Three cloudless directives are given. We are to first fear God. We fear God by realizing that we are sinners and that we need a savior. We give God glory by further realizing that salvation is in His Son and His Son only. Once this is done, there is but little more left to do than worship Him for His goodness, mercy and love. Herein is the everlasting gospel of Christ. Therefore, be careful when you hear another gospel. Watch out for anything that would cause the fear of man instead of the fear of God. Beware of anyone other than the creator receiving glory. Finally, make sure that you are a worshipper of the most high God.
