Title

Peace With Holiness

Scripture
Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.
(Hebrews 12:14)
Devotional
The problem with most of us is that we attempt to pursue peace without regard to holiness. In our generation, it is called tolerance. We have thrown holiness to the wind that we might be at peace with the world. We no longer call sin evil; we call it sickness. Fornication, sodomy, and lewdness for the sake of peace are accepted lifestyles. This tolerance might please man, but it takes holiness to please God. We must have both. As believers in the most high God, we are to pursue peace with all people, and holiness with God. Here is how: instead of tolerating sin, tolerate people. Hate sin and love people. Stand firm in your faith. Do not hesitate to share your Biblical stand on issues that divide. Do not attack people; win them. Remember, sin divides not righteousness. Furthermore, I would much rather be divided from the world than from heaven.
