Express Your Belief

Scripture
I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
(1 Timothy 2:8)

Praise and worship demands expression. To say that you praise and worship God without an outward expression is ludicrous. It is one thing to be stayed; it is quite another to be stone. There is to be an outward expression in our worship. People need to know what you are doing. The psalmist says, “He has put a new song in my mouth-Praise to our God; many will see it and fear, and will trust in the Lord.” He said, “Many will see it.” What will they see? They will see men being “man-enough” to openly praise and worship their God. They will see men and women lifting up holy hands without an attitude and without embarrassment. They will see God’s people unashamedly worshipping and praising the Creator of the universe. If we are not into praise and worship here on earth, we may have a hard time with heaven.
