Title

Hold On To The Integrity Of God

Scripture
In all this Job did not sin nor charge God with wrong.
(Job 1:22)
Devotional
You have heard it said and maybe have said it yourself, “Why me? Why did God do this to me?” When we challenge God with such questions, we challenge the integrity of God. When we do so, the only integrity at risk is our own. God said of Job, “He holds fast to his integrity.” It is true that God does permit things to happen to us that we would much rather not have to endure. Nevertheless, God is faithful. He would never give us more than we are able to bare. Two scriptures come to mind when we are challenged: 1 Corinthians 10:13, “God is faithful, He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.” and Romans 8:18, For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” Therefore, when trials and great tribulations come your way, hold on to your integrity. I promise that God will always hold on to His.
