Title

Who Will Follow You?

Scripture
Another king arose who did not know Joseph.
(Acts 7:18)
Devotional
The favor of man may not always abide with the godly. Therefore while favor is found, we are to do our best to advance the cause of Christ. We are presently in a time of favor. It may be waning; nevertheless it remains. Furthermore, we are to raise up leadership to follow the “Josephs” of life. We should not have to suffer a leaderless season. If you are a leader, and you are, next to your leading, your priority should be to raise up a successor. In the home it is our sons and daughters. In business it is our subordinates and fellow employees. In the faith it is to be a young believer. Just as the apostle Paul mentored Timothy and Elizabeth tutored Mary, find someone that you can impart life. To lead without an heir is at best a temporary journey. You may be on top, but there may come a time when a the king will not know Joseph.
