Are You A Gift To The Body Of Christ?

Scripture

So you shall speak to all who are gifted artisans, who I have filled with the spirit of wisdom…
(Exodus 28:3)

Devotional

There are people who give gifts from their income and resources, and there are people who are gifts. Those who give gifts are those who give as they are able, “Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the Lord your God which He has given you.” Those who are gifts are given to the church by God, “And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelist, and some pastors and teachers.” It is a great blessing to be able to give. It is a greater blessing to be the gift given. If God has gifted you with a certain talent and has filled you with the spirit of wisdom in that talent, you are a gift to the Body of Christ. Therefore, do not be an unwrapped gift. Use you spirit of wisdom talents to the glory of God. Be a blessing to those in need of your abilities. Humbly give of your time and resources. Be a gift to the body of Christ, and watch God build His Church through you.
