Scripture
You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing.(Psalm 145:16)
Devotional
Even though being satisfied is a temporary circumstance, Godly desires come from the hand of the Lord. He waters the earth and gives refreshment to everything that thirsts. He prospers and heals, sends blessings and corrects. The Lord our God truly satisfies every desire.What are the desires of your heart? What is it that you wish to come upon you? Is it Godly? Does it honor God? If so, then ask that He would open His hand and satisfy your desire. If it is good and it comes, you can be assured that it came from the hand of God. The apostle James says it so very well, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.”(1)
If it is good and it has not come as of yet, keep on asking, keep on seeking, for when it does come it is going to be very good.
