Devotional
Eschatology is the study of the end of history and the gateway to eternity. By definition it is, "The doctrine of the end of the world or of humankind as it has been known." The Bible is the only source of understanding with regard to the end times. Here in our text for example we are told that the Lord will come when we least expect Him. Jesus said of it, "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only."[1] Here is one thing at this time we know for sure; we are closer to the return of Jesus Christ than any time through history. Therefore the great question is not when is Christ coming, but am I ready for Him to come? Is my family ready? Are my friends ready? What am I doing to prepare for His return? There is one main thing we can and should do: we must do all that we can to win the lost for Christ.Daily Reading
