Who exchange the truth of God for the lie, and worship and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever, Amen.(Romans 1:25)
Devotional
What a bad trade, the truth for a lie. Why would anyone do so? The answer is unfortunately obvious; people who live a lie desire lies. The truth exposes their character and lifestyle. People who desire a lie over the truth know that if they accept the truth they will have to change. This is why people accept evolution over creation. If you believe in creation as the cause for our existence, then there must be a Creator. If there is a Creator then we must be subject to Him. If we are to be subject to Him then we would have to obey Him, and if we have to obey Him, we will have to change. Therefore, the world says, “Give me a lie.” They have not only accepted a lifestyle of lies, they are now duped by them. They do not understand that the truth will give them freedom.Daily Reading
