Vindicate me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation; Oh, deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man!(Psalm 43:1)
Devotional
When you stand for right in a wrong world expect opposition. An ungodly nation can only do ungodly deeds. Do not let it surprise you. Instead of seeking the favor of the ungodly seek the vindication of God, and you will receive favor from both God and man. No matter what the stand of the world, nor its deceitfulness, it is always right to do right. When you are called to make a defense, seek your vindication from God not man. God will deliver you from the deceitful and unjust. He will do so with the truth of His Word. The greatest statement of defense begins with the words, “The Bible says…." Never forget that the Bible is the power of God. When we attempt to reason without it our reasoning is the same as the worlds. Use it wisely and it will serve you well. Remember, we have an advocate, Jesus Christ the righteous.Daily Reading
